Vivian Makes Amazing Art with Adobe Creative Cloud with No Added Cost

When it comes to fostering creativity and collaboration, University of Pittsburgh offers a rich landscape for students to explore and develop their artistic endeavors. Vivian Zauhar, a dedicated Pitt student, shares her experience of transforming her passion for arts and culture into tangible projects through the university's resources and community.

In her free time at Pitt, Vivian has poured her energy into creating a magazine that celebrates arts and culture, spotlighting student art across campus. Her involvement is not just about showcasing creativity but also about the intricate process of digital design and magazine layout. "There's a lot of digital design that goes into it and then also the actual layout of the magazine itself," Vivian explains, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the scenes.

Empowered by Technology: Harnessing Adobe Creative Suite

Vivian's journey is greatly supported by the robust tools available to Pitt students. The magazine production involves using a variety of Adobe Creative Suite products, including InDesign, Photoshop, and more. "We use InDesign and a lot of other Adobe suite products to make graphics, logos, flyers," she says. The accessibility of these tools is a game-changer, allowing students to seamlessly share their work. "It also helps that everyone has access to InDesign so we can all save things as InDesign files or Adobe files and share them," Vivian adds.

Maximize Resources

One of the standout advantages of being a Pitt student is the access to an Adobe Creative Cloud license, providing a range of software tools essential for any aspiring designer or content creator. Vivian emphasizes, "As a Pitt student, everyone has access to an Adobe Creative Cloud license—so InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro." This accessibility empowers students to unleash their creativity and produce professional-grade work.

Vivian's advice to fellow students is to leverage the resources offered by Pitt IT. "I would make sure you're taking advantage of all the resources Pitt IT has to offer," she urges. The tools available open doors to endless possibilities, enabling students to create virtually anything they envision.

A Testament to Community and Innovation

Vivian's story is a testament to the vibrant community at Pitt that encourages exploration and innovation. Her magazine project not only showcases student talent but also reflects the collaborative spirit nurtured by the university. Through the support of Pitt IT and the accessibility of cutting-edge design tools, students like Vivian can transform their creative visions into reality, making a lasting impact on campus culture.
